When/why
did you get involved with fitness and who
are your role models?
I've been active in fitness for over 20 years.
I spent many years as a step and kickboxing
aerobics instructor and now I'm a personal
Trainer. I started competing in NPC figure
competitions 4 years ago and fell in love
with it the first time I stepped on stage.
My role models are Jenny Hendershott, Adela Garcia, and Elaine Goodlad.
These are wonderful women and bring their own uniqueness to the sport.
How often do you train and what is
your favorite and least favorite body part
to train?
It depends on the time of year. Off season my cardio is 3-4 times a week and for contest prep it will be 6 times per week in the morning and 4-5 times per week after training in the afternoon.
Weight training stays the same 5 days per week.
I love training shoulders because it is a weak area and I love the challenge of making them grow. My least favorite would have to be calves.
What is your inspirational credo or
motto, words to live by?
Attitude is everything and also Train hard or Go home.
You can't achieve your goals unless you
put forth the effort and work hard. Your
attitude will play a huge role in your goals.
Attitude can make or break you.
